Jiani Zhang

Jiani Zhang is EVP and Chief Software Officer at Capgemini Engineering. As the CSO, Jiani is responsible for the leadership and growth of the entire software business including software product engineering, software lifecycle services and software transformation for industries. Prior to this role, Jiani was President of the Alliance and Industrial Solution Unit at Persistent Systems where she was responsible for the P&L of this unit. Jiani has a track record for driving business growth, from nascent businesses to large organizations and has extensive experience in offering management, product development, go-to market strategy and sales execution. She also holds experience in strategy consulting, marketing, and business development. Prior to Persistent, Jiani was the Director of Offering Management and Strategy for IBM where she pioneered the creation of the Industrial Analytics/AI IoT solutions. Jiani holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from UCLA Anderson with an emphasis in Technology Management.
