Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced the launch of HPE Swarm Learning, an AI solution to accelerate insights at the edge, from diagnosing diseases to detecting credit card fraud, by sharing and unifying AI model learnings without compromising data privacy. HPE Swarm Learning is a privacy-preserving, decentralized machine learning framework for the edge or distributed sites. The solution provides customers with containers that are easily integrated with AI models using the HPE swarm API. Users can then immediately share AI model learnings within their organization and outside with industry peers to improve training without sharing actual data.

In related news, TigerGraph announced it will combine HPE Swarm Learning with its data analytics offering to augment efforts to quickly detect unusual activity in credit card transactions. By combining its distributed, native parallel graph database with HPE Swarm Learning, credit card companies can rapidly detect unusual credit card transactions. This combined solution will increase accuracy when training machine learning models from vast quantities of financial data from multiple banks and branches across geological locations.

Red Hat announced Red Hat Application Foundations, a connected set of application services that, together with Red Hat OpenShift, help accelerate containerized application development and delivery across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Red Hat Application Foundations serves as a toolkit for organizations looking to quickly build and integrate application and data services as part of their application and infrastructure modernization strategy. A toolbox of key application services, Red Hat Application Foundations provides developers with ready-to-implement components that include high-performance data streaming services, API management, service connectivity, lightweight runtimes and frameworks, and more.

Credo AI announced the availability of its Responsible AI Platform, a SaaS product that empowers organizations with tools to standardize and scale their approach to Responsible AI. The platform helps companies operationalize Responsible AI by providing context-driven AI risk and compliance assessment. The solution helps cross-functional teams align on Responsible AI requirements for fairness, performance, transparency, privacy, security, and more based on business and regulatory context by selecting from out-of-the-box, use-case-driven Policy guardrails.

Vic.ai announced Vic.ai Spend Intelligence, a prescriptive AI technology for advanced enterprise-grade cost optimization. Vic.ai Spend Intelligence will fill the gap in finance departments’ decision-making capabilities to help them make sound, data-informed choices about their costs. Features will include industry cost benchmarking, which will help users understand their cost structure compared to industry peers, and vendor price benchmarking, which will measure how customers’ vendor price compares to other buyers of the same goods or services, including subscriptions, consulting, advertising, legal services, and more.

Baseten formally launched with its product that makes going from machine learning model to production-grade applications fast and easy by giving data science and machine learning teams the ability to incorporate machine learning into business processes without backend, frontend, or MLOps knowledge. The product has been in private beta since last summer, with companies using it for everything from abuse detection to fraud prevention. It is now in public beta.

Ocient announced the general availability of version 19 of the Ocient Hyperscale Data Warehouse. Ocient enables mixed OLAP-style workloads for hundreds to thousands of concurrent users 10 to 50 times faster than existing solutions. Version 19 is available as a fully managed service hosted in OcientCloud, on-prem in the customer’s data center, and in Google Cloud Marketplace. Google Cloud customers looking to leverage Google’s core infrastructure and procurement channels can now integrate with Ocient’s data analytics solutions powered by the Ocient Hyperscale Data Warehouse.

Aerospike Inc. announced the general availability of Aerospike Database 6, a significant new release of the core engine that powers the Aerospike Real-time Data Platform. Aerospike Database 6.0 is a real-time database with native support for JSON document models at any scale. The release adds enhanced support for Java programming models, including JSONPath query support to store, search, and better manage complex data sets and workloads. Aerospike Database 6 allows the company to support large-scale data models in instances across the enterprise and positions the company to add Time Series, Graph, and more data models in future releases.

Jitterbit announced it has expanded the capabilities of its Harmony integration platform with App Builder, a low-code application development tool. UserTesting’s HIPAA compliance meets the data security and protection needs of healthcare organizations looking to use real human insight to build patient-first digital experiences. As a result, healthcare organizations can now gather feedback and insights and manage protected health information (PHI) from their own patients, as well as contributors on the UserTesting Human Insight Platform.

Expert.ai announced the new release of its purpose-built platform combining symbolic, human-like comprehension and machine learning. Features and benefits delivered by the new release include ‘smarter from the start’ knowledge models that deliver NL applications to production faster with higher levels of business accuracy; simplified deployment processes across multiple environments, including Azure; easier integration via out of the box connectors; and enhanced natural language operations.

Yellow.ai announced that it has augmented its Marketplace with pre-built, low-code Dynamic AI agents. The addition of pre-trained, ready-to-deploy vertical AI agents is aimed at helping enterprises accelerate their total experience (TX) automation journey. The pre-built Dynamic AI agents for employee experience (EX) automate end-to-end EX journeys, right from hire to retire, including onboarding, training, and routine employee engagements. The new offerings complement the solution library of Yellow.ai’s Marketplace, which enables enterprises to deploy AI Agents in just a few clicks.

Rockset announced a new integration with Microsoft SQL Server. The new integration supports real-time indexing for Microsoft SQL Server, enabling sub-second analytics for developers building user-facing and operational analytics. Rockset now has a library of data connectors for schemaless ingestion from existing event streams, databases, and lakes and stays in sync with the data source, enabling fast analytics within 1-2 seconds of new data being generated. As the data arrives, Rockset supports continuous SQL transformations and rollups without the need for batch ETL jobs.

SIOS Technology Corp. announced the availability of SIOS LifeKeeper for Linux version 9.6.1. The latest version of its clustering software takes advantage of new security updates and application support critical to ensuring application high availability in customer infrastructures. SIOS LifeKeeper for Linux lets IT managers run their business-critical applications in a flexible, scalable cloud environment, such as Microsoft Azure or AWS EC2 while maintaining high availability, disaster protection, and optimal application performance.

Slate Technologies announced that it has acquired Splash Modular. As a result of the acquisition, Splash will operate as part of Slate Technologies. Slate’s recently launched digital assistant for the construction industry uses AI and machine learning to improve the productivity of professionals by enabling better, earlier decision making to help them manage construction site initiatives while maximizing revenue. Through its acquisition of Splash Modular, the Splash blueprint and toolset will enable Slate’s new Scripting as a Service (SCaaS) offering to general contractors involved in the building process to access data sets that are fully and seamlessly integrated with their projects.

Databricks announced that it has acquired Cortex Labs, an MLOps startup and creator of Cortex, a popular open-source platform for deploying, managing, and scaling ML models. The acquisition of Cortex will help Databricks accelerate its model serving and MLOps on its platform. Specifically, Cortext will enable Databricks customers to scale production ML workloads reliably, securely, and cost-effectively by helping their data engineers deploy ML models in production without worrying about DevOps or cloud infrastructure.

TriggerMesh has been selected to be part of the ONUG Automated Cloud Governance Working Group’s Cloud Security Notifications Framework (CSNF). The ONUG ACG Working Group is sponsored by FedEx, Cigna, Raytheon Technologies, and IBM Cloud. CSNF provides a way to capture security events, TriggerMesh’s role is to normalize and transform that event data into a standard security event that can be routed and utilized by Security Information Event Management (SIEM) systems to provide situational awareness of cloud security.

LeanIX announced it has joined the MuleSoft Technology Partner Program and contributed to the partner ecosystem by releasing a MuleSoft Certified Connector for LeanIX. The LeanIX Connector, accessible in Anypoint Exchange, allows companies to simplify integration to the LeanIX Continuous Transformation Platform with data from any system. Additionally, LeanIX released an integration with MuleSoft’s Anypoint Exchange to its Value Stream Management solution, enabling companies to source essential parts of their APIs from MuleSoft into LeanIX.

Onna announced a partnership with Infinia ML to combine centralized unstructured data in Onna with Infinia ML’s machine learning technology.
