Data analytics provider Splunk announced the availability of its cloud platform on Google Cloud, which will enable customers to share data and insights.

The two operators plan to roll-out native integrations on Google Cloud Security Command Center, Anthos, and Stackdriver. With Splunk Cloud, organizations can monitor all Google Cloud services through a web-style interface, providing non-technical staff with an easy way to view the data.

Through Splunk Cloud, organizations can access Splunk’s Data-to-Everything platform, which provides data visualizations and insights without additional infrastructure.

“Splunk helps companies bring data to every question, decision, and action for both on-premises and cloud digitization journeys at a ferocious speed and massive scale,” said Doug Merritt, President and CEO, Splunk.

“We chose to partner with Google Cloud to deliver the technology, capabilities, and trusted infrastructure required to help businesses connect all forms of data. Splunk’s partnership with Google Cloud will help empower even more customers to harness nearly limitless data opportunities across IT, security, and application development while remaining agile and cost-effective.”

Splunk is already generally available on Amazon Web Services, with integrations in many key services. The partnership with Google Cloud may open up hybrid cloud deployment opportunities for organizations that use both AWS and GCP.

“Data is at the center of every business’ digital transformation and we are proud to partner with Splunk to help organizations build data-driven, cloud-native strategies,” said Thomas Kurian, CEO at Google Cloud. “Businesses can now leverage Splunk’s capabilities in data analytics for IT, security, user behavior, and more, on Google Cloud’s trusted and secure infrastructure.”
