Self-service software provider Paxata has unveiled its Spring 2018 Adaptive Information Platform release at the Gartner Data & Analytics Summit 2018. In the latest edition, Paxata improves the efficiency of its self-service program, which prepares enterprise data for analytics software.

One-click data profiling gives customers the ability to create a detailed data quality scorecard and detect fuzzy matches, data type distribution, and string patterns. Paxata has also added a high-speed data ingest, based on Spark, which can work across multiple clusters and is designed for massive Internet of Things and other high transaction volumes.

A next-generation multi-tenancy enables cross-team collaboration, with multiple LDAP or SAML authentication. The tenancy comes in hybrid and multi-cloud deployment forms, allowing one admin to control several tenants.

“Paxata launched the self-service data prep category in 2013 with a relentless focus on combining business consumer innovation with enterprise-grade capabilities. The Spring ‘18 release of our Adaptive Information Platform continues to deliver on our commitment to providing exceptional value to our customers and extends our leadership as the enterprise standard in the category,” said Nenshad Bardoliwalla, co-founder, and CPO at Paxata.

“With our latest innovations, customers are now dramatically expanding the number of use cases to accelerate their time to decision-ready information, working on significantly larger volumes of data, all while ensuring enterprise-scale governance in shared services environments.”
