The Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF), the neutral home where the open standard agentic AI stack is being built, has announced 57 new member organizations over the past quarter. The influx, comprising 3 Gold, 33 Silver, and 21 Associate Members, brings total foundation membership to 247 organizations worldwide. The scope of the AAIF’s mission can be put into perspective by looking at the work being carried out over the last year. A recently released Agentic AI Momentum Report, which tracks 116 open-source projects across five layers of the agentic AI stack, shows that open-source agentic AI has evolved into a mature, densely connected ecosystem.

Continuous participation from new members, including financial institutions, enterprise platforms, and international leaders, reinforces the demand for robust, secure, and interoperable agentic AI infrastructure as organizations standardize how agents interact, especially across compliance-critical domains like payments, banking, and supply chain management.

The AI Trust and Security Consortium (AITSC) opened applications for its founding cohort of 50 enterprise security and technology leaders to define how AI gets deployed, governed, and trusted inside the world’s largest organizations. This is an independent, practitioner-led standards initiative. It brings together cross-industry security and IT leaders to build the AI guardrails that regulators are now demanding and no existing framework supplies.

Airbyte announced a new service that enables organizations to migrate from Airbyte Core (open source) to Airbyte Cloud without rebuilding pipelines or performing expensive historical data re-syncs. The new migration capability preserves an organization’s existing Airbyte workspace, including sources, destinations, connections, schedules, stream configurations, and incremental synchronization checkpoints. Airbyte Cloud continues syncing data exactly from the point where the prior self-managed deployment was stopped.

BMC announced that it has achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) AI Competency. BMC believes that achieving the AWS AI Competency in the Agentic AI Applications category validates that the Control-M solution from BMC has been acknowledged for its AI-powered capabilities, including intelligent automation, anomaly detection, and self-optimizing workflow orchestration. The solution meets the AWS technical bar for reliability, security, and scalability when running on AWS infrastructure and while leveraging integrations with Amazon Bedrock and other Amazon technologies.

Community Labs launched Cascadia, a distributed AI inference runtime for Intel hardware. Cascadia supports three different ways to serve models locally: one model on a single device, replicate a model across devices, or split a larger and more powerful model across devices. Developed in collaboration with Intel, Cascadia allows organizations to turn their existing Intel-powered fleets into a private system for running large language models. Cascadia splits large AI models into shards and uses Intel’s OpenVINO toolkit to run optimized inference across CPUs, integrated GPUs, and NPUs. It also supports a range of Intel’s Arc Pro discrete graphics cards.

Databricks announced that it acquired Electric to bring WASM Postgres to AI agent sandboxes. The acquisition extends Databricks’ Postgres capabilities from the lakehouse to the edge, allowing for an abundance of lightweight open-source databases that can all be synced back to Lakebase Postgres for centralization and control on cheap, durable object storage.

DXC Technology announced DXC Workplace Services, a new people-centered, AI-native workplace offering that reimagines the digital workplace around employee outcomes rather than technology. The offering helps organizations improve productivity, strengthen employee experience, and optimize IT operations that maximize existing technology investments without adding more tools. DXC Workplace Services is enabled by DXC OASIS, the intelligent orchestration platform that transforms managed services through Human+ agentic AI workflows, delivering people-first agentic operations that anticipate employee needs and drive proactive outcomes.

IBM announced a collaboration with Together AI to deliver IBM and NVIDIA AI infrastructure. Under a multi-year $240M agreement between IBM and Together AI, IBM is positioned to deploy a large cluster of NVIDIA HGX B300 systems on IBM Cloud with expected availability in Q1 2027. Together AI will use this cluster to provide open-source model inference. This deployment is the first dedicated, large-scale cluster built for inference on IBM Cloud using HGX B300 systems and NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking.

LG announced it is developing a next-generation bipedal humanoid robot built using NVIDIA Isaac GR00T, NVIDIA’s open reasoning humanoid foundation model, for a public unveiling in the first quarter of next year. To accomplish this, LG and NVIDIA signed a memorandum of understanding. Under the agreement, LG also plans to validate LG CLOiD wheel-based robots on one of its manufacturing lines, build AI factory reference sites using NVIDIA DSX and NVIDIA Vera Rubin, and develop a next-generation AI-defined vehicle platform using NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion.

MongoDB announced that its intelligent data platform is now available natively inside the AI tools developers use to build applications. Available now, MongoDB Atlas Managed MCP Server is a fully hosted way to connect agents to Atlas without running additional infrastructure. Builders can now easily add MongoDB Atlas to Claude Code, Codex, Grok Build and Devin. MongoDB also announced new capabilities that bring its Voyage AI retrieval models into the operational database, including Automated Embeddings in MongoDB Atlas powered by Voyage AI, the Atlas Embedding and Reranking API, and voyage-code-4.

Nutanix announced the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP), enabling customers to safely use AI tools to automate their daily cloud operations. The MCP server for NCP is open-source software that implements the Model Context Protocol specification and enables AI agents and developer tools to interact with NCP through the Nutanix Prism v4 API.

NVIDIA introduced new open technologies for building always-on AI agents powered by systems of specialized models. First, the company introduced Nemotron 3.5 Lightning, which is a lightweight, customizable open model built for high-volume agentic tasks. It delivers faster output speed, leading to faster agentic task completion compared with other models in its class. It also released NeMo Switchyard, an open-source routing library that automatically directs each step of an agent workflow to the most capable and efficient model, helping developers balance accuracy, speed, and cost.

Oracle announced the general availability of Oracle Exadata Database Service on Exascale Infrastructure on Oracle AI Database@AWS, bringing Exadata-class performance and pay-per-use economics to Oracle AI Database workloads of any scale. Oracle and Amazon Web Services (AWS) also signed an expanded, long-term strategic collaboration agreement focused on accelerating customer migration to Oracle AI Database@AWS.

Quali announced the general availability of Stack Automation, a deployment automation platform developed in collaboration with Cisco, built to bring enterprise-grade speed, governance, and agentic AI capability to every layer of the infrastructure stack. The solution combines Cisco Validated Designs and Cisco security best practices with Quali’s infrastructure automation and agentic AI engine for a seamless management experience. Integrated with Cisco Intersight and Cisco Nexus Dashboard, this model spans from GPU provisioning and AI stack deployment to continuous compliance, drift detection, and operations of the automated workflow. 

ScienceLogic announced Skylar AI 2.5, expanding secure deployment options for organizations with stringent security, sovereignty, and compliance requirements, while introducing enhancements that strengthen AI performance, operational intelligence, and enterprise integrations. The release further improves AI accuracy, platform performance, and natural language user experience across the ScienceLogic AI Platform.
