Subex and Pod Solutions will develop advanced security services that allow customers to create, deploy and bill mission-critical IoT solutions.

Pod Solutions, a provider of data connectivity to the IoT, travel and M2M markets has announced a new partnership with telecom analytics solutions provider Subex Ltd. The partnership will serve to help Pod launch its new IoT security solution, Subex Secure. Subex Secure is designed to provide security for IoT billing and connectivity services.

Pod says it plans to continue to develop advanced security services that will allow their customers to deploy and bill critical IoT solutions with maximum speed and security. Pod Solutions is Pod’s development division. Its focus is on aligning itself with other leading players in the IoT space to make IoT application adoption less complex. So far they offer billing, connectivity, and security services to enterprises and service providers around the world with millions of devices deployed.

Speaking on the announcement, Alistair Elliott, CEO, Pod Solutions said, “Today, the security of IoT applications is one of the issues causing most concern and is, therefore, one of the biggest barriers to IoT adoption.
