Snowflake announced a $200 million partnership with OpenAI to co-develop and deploy customized AI solutions for their joint customers. Some of the ways the two companies will work together include:

  • OpenAI models will be natively available within Snowflake Cortex AI across all three major clouds.
  • OpenAI models (including GPT-5.2) will be accessible inside Snowflake Intelligence, allowing users to securely query and act on organizational knowledge using natural language.
  • Joint engineering teams will partner to bring new features that leverage OpenAI Apps SDK, AgentKit, and APIs that support shared enterprise workflows.
  • AI workloads will run alongside proprietary data in Snowflake.

In Snowflake news, the company:

  • Announced new innovations to help enterprises deliver real business impact with AI. To that end, Snowflake unveiled Semantic View Autopilot (now generally available), an AI-powered service that automates the creation and governance of semantic views, giving AI agents a shared understanding of business metrics to deliver consistent, trustworthy outcomes.
  • Introduced new capabilities across agent evaluations and observability, end-to-end machine learning (ML), and AI cost governance. These innovations build on Snowflake’s existing enterprise-grade foundations, ensuring that AI systems such as Snowflake Intelligence are trusted, governed, and ready to operate reliably at scale.
  • Unveiled a new Snowflake-native AI coding agent and other tools purpose-built to help organizations move data and AI projects from idea to production faster. With Cortex Code, a data-native AI coding agent that automates and accelerates end-to-end enterprise development, users gain an agent that deeply understands and operates within their enterprise data context.

Real-time analytics news in brief

Agentuity announced the launch of V1 of its cloud platform built for AI agents. Now in general availability, Agentuity is a full-stack platform for developers of AI agents. The platform enables the streamlined creation of fully functional and easy-to-manage agents through purpose-built primitives for agentic software. These include built-in storage services, secure code execution sandboxes, production evaluations, and the ability to deploy anywhere from public cloud to on-premises infrastructure.

Los Alamos National Laboratory has formed the Center for Quantum Computing, which will bring together the Lab’s different quantum computing research capabilities. Headquartered in downtown Los Alamos, the Center for Quantum Computing will consolidate the Laboratory’s expertise in national security applications, quantum algorithms, quantum computer science, and workforce development in a shared research space.

Marlabs announced the launch of Marlabs AgilityAI, a Full Lifecycle Enterprise AI Transformation Suite. The solution offers a unified engine designed to do one thing: move enterprises from isolated AI pilots to sustainable, governed business capabilities. Specifically, Marlabs AgilityAI addresses the core points of failure by providing a framework to align AI to business value, pre-built accelerators to reduce implementation time, and operational models to deploy AI confidently.

MinIO announced the general availability of MinIO AIStor Tables. By unifying Tables and Objects in a single high-performance and Iceberg-native data store, AIStor eliminates structured and unstructured data silos to elegantly power any analytics, AI, and agentic workload at enterprise scale. Additionally, MinIO’s integration of Apache Iceberg V3 API into AIStor allows Apache Iceberg tables to become first-class citizens within AIStor itself.

Miro announced its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Built in collaboration with Anthropic, AWS, GitHub, Google, and Windsurf (a Cognition Company), the MCP server creates bidirectional integration between Miro’s AI Innovation Workspace and AI coding environments to help teams build the right things faster. The solution connects the shared visual context that teams already create in Miro with AI agents across an organization.

Operant AI announced the launch of Agent Protector, a security solution purpose-built for the agentic AI era. The solution provides comprehensive visibility, real-time protection, and governance for both managed and unmanaged agents. Additionally, it combines shadow agent discovery, secure development enclaves, cloud-native observability, inline behavioral threat detection, and zero trust enforcement in a unified solution designed specifically for agentic security.

Opsera announced new advanced reasoning AI and autonomous remediation capabilities for Agentic DevOps. With Opsera, enterprises can move beyond rearview mirror insights to fully orchestrated, self-driving software delivery. The platform provides a unified system that enables intelligent agents to work alongside engineering teams.

Partnerships, collaborations, and more

Microsoft introduced a new Elastic zone-redundant storage (ZRS) service level for Azure NetApp Files, now in public preview. This capability provides built-in multi-availability zone resilience by synchronously mirroring data across zones, enabling automatic failover and zero data loss without requiring complex architectures or manual replication. The move marks a meaningful step forward for enterprises running business-critical and regulated workloads in Azure.

Rocket Software announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Vertica analytics database from OpenText. Vertica’s ability to support cloud, on-prem, and hybrid deployments, combined with strong AI/ML capabilities, allows Rocket to meet customers exactly where they are when it comes to running their most sensitive, performance-intensive workloads today.

Teradata announced the availability of its foundational enterprise-grade Data Analyst AI agent on Google Cloud Marketplace, enabling organizations to integrate advanced analytics and agentic AI capabilities into their cloud environments more seamlessly. Built on the Teradata Enterprise MCP (Model Context Protocol) and leveraging Google’s Agent Development Kit (ADK), this agent delivers multi-turn conversational analytics, secure pushdown processing, and real-time insights—all without moving data.
