MapR Offers System Integrators an Elite Premier Program

The program recognizes the expertise of qualified system integrators and allows those partners to work with the growing list of MapR customers on a wide variety of big data projects.

Business people celebrate deal agreement successConverged Data Platform Provider MapR Technologies, yesterday announced the launch of an elite premier program for system integrators. The new program is touted as recognizing the expertise of qualified system integrators and designates those partners to work with MapR customers on a variety of big data projects.

“We are very excited to be part of the Elite Premier program, as we are seeing growing interest across our customer base for the unique capabilities of the MapR Converged Data Platform,” said John Bender, senior vice president, RCG Global Services. “We have built specific solutions for use cases in retail and are investing in developing offerings for other verticals such as oil and gas.”

Tools for big data and MapR

MapR says the Elite Premier program is designed to accommodate the sharp increase in partner enrollment in the MapR Converge Partners program launched last year. It is meant to give systems integrators the tools they need to develop their big data practice around the MapR Converged Data Platform.

According to the company, benefits of the new program include the following:

  • Executive sponsorship for joint business alignment
  • Designated alliance manager for regular cadence
  • Direct engagement with world-class MapR professional services team
  • Exclusive access to customized partner training for the MapR Platform
  • Preferred status to invest in joint marketing and sales programs

“The continued growth of the Converge Partners Program, specifically in the systems integrator category is the driver for us to launch this exclusive program,” said Geneva Lake, vice president, worldwide alliances, MapR Technologies.

“System integrators are a critical element to complement our overall go-to-market and service strategies by providing key strategic technology, industry advisory services and implementation capabilities,” Lake said. “This program will help qualified partners deepen their capabilities with the MapR platform, build joint solutions with us in key industries and serve our customers better.”
