Dell Technologies made a number of AI-related announcements at this week’s Dell Technologies World.

The company announced a broad set of advancements to the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA. To that end, NVIDIA OpenShell, the secure runtime for autonomous agents, is now supported across the entire Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA. This allows organizations to build, deploy, and govern agents with privacy controls, from Dell Pro Precision towers and Dell Pro Max with GB10 and GB300 through to Dell PowerEdge XE servers. The Dell-NVIDIA AI-Q 2.0 Reference Architecture, powered by the Dell AI Data Platform with NVIDIA, extends this foundation with a production-ready multi-agent research workflow for regulated industries.

In other company news, Dell is expanding its AI infrastructure portfolio with new systems built for modern enterprise AI workloads. Specifically, Dell is adding PowerRack to its AI infrastructure portfolio. The solution is a fully integrated system that includes compute, networking, and storage engineered as one, with thermal design, power management, and software optimization built to work together from the ground up.

Additionally, Dell announced significant advancements to the Dell AI Data Platform that make enterprise data AI-ready at scale across the full lifecycle, from discovery and preparation to analytics and AI-driven experiences. New capabilities and features include the ability to unify and orchestrate AI data pipelines at scale, accelerate SQL analytics for NVIDIA Blackwell and future NVIDIA Vera CPU platforms, power digital twins and AI-driven experiences with unified data, and more.

Real-time analytics news in brief

Acceldata announced the general availability of its Autonomous Data & AI Platform, a platform that brings governed compute to wherever enterprise data lives. The platform enables enterprises to autonomously run data analytics and AI agents with trust across their cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and sovereign environments – a critical challenge many organizations face as they deploy enterprise AI.

Alteryx unveiled new product capabilities that advance agentic automation across the enterprise. New enhancements to the Alteryx One platform unify data, business logic, and AI in a single system, enabling organizations to move beyond experimentation and operationalize analytics as intelligent outcomes.

Camunda announced ProcessOS, a new intelligence layer for its agentic orchestration platform. The solution uses the latest advances in agentic software development to generate and modify full process-based solutions, including agentic processes, integrations, data mapping, agent prompts, decisions, and UI forms. ProcessOS draws on a growing catalog of extensions on the Camunda marketplace.

Confluent, an IBM Company, announced new capabilities in Confluent Intelligence and Confluent Cloud that streamline how real-time artificial intelligence (AI) applications are built and secured. New capabilities include natural language operations, automated data privacy, secure connectivity with support for Azure Private Link, unified engineering workflows, and more.

Domino Data Lab announced new capabilities to help regulated enterprises build, scale, and govern AI-powered applications. To that end, the Domino Enterprise AI Platform now spans the full application lifecycle, from the first line of code to applications in the hands of business users, and works with models and agents whether they are hosted in Domino or sourced externally.

Edgecore Networks announced Edgecore Praxis, a curated Edge AI platform built for managed service providers, internet service providers, and AI-powered SaaS and VaaS platform companies seeking to extend AI capabilities to customer sites. Praxis is designed for technology companies that are already operating AI-powered services in the cloud and whose next challenge is closing the gap between cloud infrastructure and large-scale real-world edge deployment.

HERE Technologies announced HERE Location Reasoning, a geospatial, advanced grounding solution that will enable AI models, agentic systems, and enterprise deployments to deliver deterministic, location-aware outcomes in real-world environments. The solution is designed for operational performance, delivering consistent results with low latency and cost efficiency. It optimizes execution and reduces unnecessary downstream requests and token usage, enabling predictable performance and operating costs in production environments.

Kore.ai launched the new-generation Kore.ai Agent Platform Artemis edition, the AI-programmable, AI-native foundation that builds, governs, and optimizes the agents, systems, and workflows running across the enterprise. The platform launches initially on Microsoft Azure, with broader cloud availability to follow. The solution enables enterprises to deploy production-ready multi-agent AI systems in days instead of months, with governance, observability, and operational control enforced before any agent goes live.

LaunchDarkly launched AgentControl, a new solution that gives software teams real-time control over AI agents in production. With AgentControl, teams can substantially change how an agent behaves at runtime without redeploying the underlying application. The solution combines instantaneous runtime intervention with the full operational layer teams need to run agents reliably.

Microsoft announced two updates that strengthen its commitment to an Open Agentic AI Ecosystem. To that end, it announced the upcoming public preview of Azure Linux 4.0 on Azure Virtual Machines and the general availability of Azure Container Linux, Microsoft’s immutable container-optimized operating system (OS), with the broader rollout at next week’s Microsoft Build event. Together, they give developers and organizations a hardened Linux distribution purpose-built for cloud native and AI workloads.

Miro announced new innovations across its AI platform, reinforcing its position as the collaboration layer where people, context, and agents from every function converge to solve hard problems, make better decisions, and build the right thing faster. Major upgrades to Miro’s agentic AI tools, including Sidekicks and Flows, alongside new Connectors, help customers close the gap between individual AI productivity and organization-wide transformation. 

Other World Computing (OWC) announced OWC Stack AI, a Thunderbolt 5 AI accelerator and storage hub designed to help businesses, developers, researchers, and power users run larger AI models and workflows locally on select Windows and Linux PCs and laptops, with Mac support planned for future release. OWC Stack AI works with numerous ecosystem AI agents and applications, including OpenClaw at launch. Additional models will expand over time as the platform matures.

Teradata announced the Teradata Factory, extending the Teradata Autonomous Knowledge Platform with a fully integrated on-premises foundation for enterprises running AI and analytics in hybrid environments. Built on Dell Technologies enterprise compute and storage, the solution unifies the complete Teradata software stack, including AI Studio, within a single management plane, supporting EDW, Lakehouse, and advanced AI workloads with enterprise-grade performance, private AI, and hybrid/multi-cloud flexibility built in.

Versa introduced a Zero Trust architecture for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), applying Zero Trust principles to AI execution. With this approach, no AI action is implicitly trusted; every agent-generated step is validated against user identity, role-based access controls, and system policies before execution, with explicit human validation based on administrator-defined policies. The Zero Trust MCP architecture is delivered within Versa Verbo, the company’s AI-powered operations co-pilot, and is integrated with the VersaONE Universal SASE Platform.

Partnerships, collaborations, and more

Percona announced it has joined a group of companies to sponsor pgBackRest, one of PostgreSQL’s most widely used backup and recovery tools, restoring active development and giving users a clear path forward. The planned work includes dedicated time from pgBackRest creator and lead maintainer David Steele for bug fixes, feature work, and community reviews; Percona engineering involvement to onboard a new maintainer who can help grow into a long-term maintainer role; and an active effort to bring additional organizations into the sponsorship to reduce the project’s reliance on a single maintainer.

Denodo announced new product integrations with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, and Amazon Quick, to support the building and scaling of agentic AI across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The integrations extend access to operational and analytical data residing in on-premises, SaaS, and multi-cloud environments. This provides a logical data foundation that delivers live, business-contextual, and governed data across the enterprise, enabling AI agents to operate with confidence, accuracy, and control.

OpenNebula Systems announced a joint solution with SUSE, bringing together virtualization management, cloud orchestration, enterprise Linux, and Kubernetes management into a single, integrated platform for sovereign cloud deployments, particularly suited to organizations with strict data residency and regulatory requirements. Specifically, the combined offering brings together OpenNebula’s cloud and virtualization platform with SUSE Linux Enterprise and SUSE Rancher to provide a secure, stable, and vendor-neutral alternative to proprietary stacks such as VMware and Nutanix.

Proofpoint announced the integration of Proofpoint’s platform with the Claude Compliance API. The integration extends Proofpoint’s data security, data loss prevention (DLP), insider risk, AI runtime security, and Digital Communications Governance (DCG) directly into Claude, enabling enterprises to apply the same controls they use across endpoint, email, and cloud to AI-assisted work. 

Solvd joined the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF). AAIF is a Linux Foundation project focused on the open, collaborative development of AI infrastructure. As a member, Solvd’s engineering leaders will contribute hands-on implementation expertise to AAIF working groups with a particular focus on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Solvd will also contribute to initiatives around agent project context (AGENTS.md) and open-source agent tooling. (Launched in December 2025, AAIF’s Founding members include Anthropic, AWS, Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI.)
