In this week’s real-time analytics news: GE Healthcare teams with AWS to deliver AI solutions to hospitals, Corning intros high-performance indoor cellular solutions, and more.

Keeping pace with news and developments in the real-time analytics market can be a daunting task. We want to help by providing a summary of some of the items our staff came across each week. Here are some of the news items from this week:

GE Healthcare announced a collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver AI and cloud-based imaging solutions, integrated data, and clinical and operational insights to hospitals and healthcare providers. GE Healthcare plans to offer its AI-based imaging applications and Edison Health Services platform on AWS.

Corning introduced Everon mmWave indoor, high-performance cellular solutions designed to deliver 5G-ready coverage in high-density environments, such as office buildings, factories, hotels, and hospitals, where large amounts of data must be managed and transmitted.

Speedscale announced a new release of its software with API visibility features to help organizations discover problems with cloud services. The Traffic Viewer feature adds real-time observability into Kubernetes clusters, providing an API-centric view where developers can understand how apps call each other, what data is being sent, and what technologies are used.

Pyramart announced a new integration with Snowflake. Pyramart automates the process of building and maintaining a data warehouse, while Snowflake’s data platform as a service provides instant access to the data warehouses Pyramart builds and manages.

Talend announced enhancements to its Talend Data Fabric. Available now, new enhancements include high-performance integrations to leading cloud intelligence platforms, a self-service API portal, collaborative data governance capabilities, and private connections between Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure to ensure data security.

Veritone announced that the Veritone-invented AI Object Notation (AION) has been registered as a standard internet media type for the storage and transmission of cognitive AI data by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA).

KX today announced that it has added Google BigQuery integration to KX Insights. Customers can now gain powerfulreal-time insights from streaming data through KX, enriched with context from historical data sittingin Google Cloud’s highly scalable multi-cloud data warehouse.

Real-time analytics news in brief:

Anexinet announced plans to acquire Light Networks. The acquisition will allow Anexinet to leverage its Artificial Intelligence (AI), process automation, and digital solutions alongside Light Networks’ UCaaS, CCaaS, and network/telecom solutions.

Qlik announced the acquisition of NodeGraph to help expand its analytics data pipeline capabilities with interactive data lineage, impact analysis, governance, and to drive explainable BI.

Wind River announced it has joined the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program to offer its new Wind River Studio platform running on Azure.

Kyligence announced Kyligence Cloud 4.5, a self-tuning analytics platform that powers interactive data applications, dashboards, ad-hoc analytics, and real-time streaming data.

IBM and Verizon announced the creation of a 5G Industry 4.0 Testbed in Texas for developing and testing innovative, 5G-enabled use cases for Industry 4.0 applications. 

Plainsight announced it has joined the NVIDIA Metropolis program to provide businesses with faster, easier, and more accessible vision AI.

Tecton announced that it has added low-latency streaming pipelines to its feature store so that organizations can quickly and reliably build real-time ML models.

Avantra announced it has joined the ServiceNow Service Graph Connector Program by integrating Avantra with Service Graph. Connectors validated by the program integrate the expertise of the ServiceNow partner ecosystem into Service Graph. 

SeaChange International strengthened its longstanding collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enable enhanced data analytics on top of its fully migrated, cloud-based video delivery platform.
