The Apache Software Foundation (ASF) announced that Apache Auron, Apache Reqsign, and Apache ResilientDB have become Top-Level Projects (TLPs). Apache Auron and Apache ResilientDB graduated from the Apache Incubator, and Apache Reqsign was established as a standalone project after maturing as a subproject of Apache OpenDAL.

  • Apache Auron is an open-source accelerator for big data query engines, powered by native vectorized execution. Auron has completed integrations with compute engines including Apache Spark and Apache Flink, as well as open-source lakehouse formats Apache Paimon, Apache Iceberg, and Apache Hudi.
  • Apache Reqsign signs HTTP requests to cloud services without requiring heavy vendor SDKs, bringing request authentication back to a simple workflow: build, sign, send. Written in Rust with minimal dependencies and tested against official SDKs and services, Reqsign supports AWS (SigV4 and multi-region SigV4a), Azure Storage, Google Cloud, Aliyun OSS, Huawei Cloud OBS, Oracle Cloud, and Tencent COS.
  • Apache ResilientDB is an open-source, modular, permissioned blockchain framework built on Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus. Its distributed ledger stays consistent and available even when some nodes fail or act maliciously. To sustain high throughput, ResilientDB applies parallelism and deep pipelining at every layer of its multi-threaded architecture and decouples transaction ordering from execution.

Real-time analytics news in brief

NVIDIA announced new partnerships and contributions aimed at creating a common foundation for next-generation AI infrastructure. Announcements by the company and its partners included:

  • NVIDIA and hyperscalers published open standards for next-generation AI factories, including AI factory design standards and grid resilience.
  • NVIDIA launched new open-source software components for NVIDIA DSX AI Factory.
  • Meta and NVIDIA advanced open AI networking with NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet SuperNIC and Spectrum-6 innovations.
  • Visionbay introduced an 800V DC AI factory design for the Vera Rubin era.
  • NVIDIA and Cisco announced the Ultra-Dense Small Form Factor Pluggable (USFP) standard, the industry’s first module for 400Gb/s-based networking fabrics.
  • NVIDIA and Google announced Falcon Transport support on future NVIDIA ConnectX-10 SuperNICs and BlueField DPUs.

In other NVIDIA news, the company expanded its Nemotron open model families with Nemotron 3.5 Super VL, an open 120-billion-parameter model for always-on enterprise agents and a new edge model, and Nemotron 3.5 Bolt, a 74-billion-parameter model distilled from Super VL.

BrainChip Holdings announced BrainChip Sequora Core IP, a processor IP core that runs generative AI, including large language models (LLMs), directly on battery-powered edge devices. Sequora removes the memory and power bottleneck that has kept generative AI out of battery-powered devices such as earbuds and sensor nodes. Sequora scales from models of a few million parameters up to 3 billion. Devices that once could only recognize a signal can now understand, explain, and respond.

Chainguard announced new offerings designed to build trust into every phase of the software development lifecycle as AI speeds up both software development and AI attacks. The new offerings include Chainguard Harness, which finds and helps fix serious vulnerabilities using frontier AI models; Chainguard Workspaces, which keeps AI coding agents in secure, isolated environments; Chainguard Checks, which tests and verifies code as AI agents and developers work; Chainguard Libraries, which protects open-source software; and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.

Conga announced a wave of AI-first product innovations, headlined by the launch of the Conga Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server. By bringing live Conga data directly into AI assistants such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot, teams get real answers about their contracts, quotes, and obligations without leaving the tools they already use. Conga also expanded AiMe, its native AI intelligence layer, added AI-powered forecasting to Conga Price Optimization and Management, and introduced new AI capabilities across Conga Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).

DigitalOcean announced Agent Learning and Data Services as elements of its modern agentic stack, so teams can launch self-improving agents. DigitalOcean Agent Learning Services includes three products that work as one loop. Insights records what an agent does, Signals flags where it falls short, and Evaluations & Simulations test a change before customers see it. The evidence they produce is what teams use to optimize an agent. DigitalOcean Agent Data Services feeds the loop, giving agents one managed place to read the context they need and write back what they learn.

The Linux Foundation announced the operational launch of the BUILD Foundation with initial members ASML, Canva, Datadog, EngFlow, Figma, and Spotify. Key priorities include staffing dedicated technical writing for documentation, funding maintainers for bazel-contrib repositories, launching training and certification programs, improving IDE integration, and strengthening supply chain security through release attestations in the Bazel Central Registry.

Precisely announced the Precisely Automate MCP Server. The solution exposes existing Automate Studio scripts and Evolve workflows as AI-callable tools, giving any MCP-compatible AI platform a standards-based connection to SAP automation. The company also announced native OData support in Precisely Automate. Additionally, the release enables AI assistants and applications to interact with SAP automation workflows through a standards-based interface, while supporting SAP Clean Core requirements.

Teradata announced the general availability of Elastic Python Compute within AI Studio. The capability gives enterprise data science teams a managed, distributed Python environment for scaling AI compute and machine learning workloads through parallel Python execution for data engineering, machine learning, and model development.

TiDB, the open-source distributed SQL database powered by PingCAP, announced new TiDB Cloud capabilities that help organizations run established enterprise applications and AI and agentic workloads on a common data foundation. The announcements include the planned general availability of TiDB Cloud Premium, public previews of Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) and TiDB Cloud Filesystem, and a public preview of PostgreSQL support on TiDB Cloud Starter. PingCAP also announced plans to open source the core code of TiDB X by the end of 2026.

Partnerships, collaborations, and more

CIQ announced RLC Pro AI (Rocky Linux from CIQ Pro AI) optimized for NVIDIA DGX Spark. Developers get leading AI performance from the newest long-term kernel and NVIDIA’s latest validated GPU drivers. To that end, RLC Pro AI runs the CIQ Linux Kernel 6.18, the newest long-term kernel, with NVIDIA’s latest validated GPU drivers to get more from Spark’s Grace Blackwell hardware.

DigitalOcean and Bright Data announced a partnership that brings Bright Data’s tools and datasets to DigitalOcean Managed Agents, available now through Action Gateway. Agents on DigitalOcean can now search the live web, access sites that present technical challenges to automated traffic, extract structured data, and act on pre-collected, dynamically refreshed datasets without a separate Bright Data account or API key.

HERE Technologies announced expanded access to HERE Location Reasoning (HLR), giving developers a simpler way to bring trusted HERE geospatial intelligence into agentic systems and real-world AI applications, including in AWS Marketplace and as a Kiro Power. HLR forms part of an ongoing strategic collaboration between HERE Technologies and AWS that is designed to leverage the full potential of the AWS Cloud and AWS AI services for automotive and enterprise software development.

Quantiphi and LangChain today announced a strategic partnership to help enterprises adopt agent engineering at scale, from first use case to enterprise-wide rollout, and achieve measurable value. The partnership brings together LangChain’s enterprise agent engineering platform, which includes LangSmith, LangGraph and Deep Agents, with Quantiphi’s forward-deployed engineering (FDE) capabilities, enterprise AI transformation expertise and deep experience across many industries.
