Real-time analytics news in brief

Airbyte announced major enhancements to the Airbyte Agents platform, making it easier for AI agents to discover relevant enterprise knowledge while ensuring organizations maintain precise control over what agents and users can access. Airbyte Agents now supports semantic search across content stored in Google Drive, Gong call transcripts, Granola meeting notes, and Linear issues and comments, which cover the main places where organizational knowledge exists outside of structured records.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and NVIDIA announced a major expansion of their strategic collaboration to meet surging global demand for AI infrastructure as demand continues to accelerate. Building on already-rapid customer adoption of NVIDIA-accelerated compute on AWS, the companies plan to deploy 2 million additional NVIDIA GPUs across AWS’s global infrastructure and deepen their work together across AI factories, CPUs, networking, open models, data processing and robotics, delivering co-engineered AI solutions that enable customers to accelerate AI development and deployment at unprecedented scale.

In other company news, AWS announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire DuckLabs, the Amsterdam-based company behind the open-source analytical database DuckDB. The two companies have worked together since 2024. The DuckLabs team brings world-class database engineering expertise and a track record of building software that developers love. Together, the companies aim to make analytics faster, simpler, and more cost-effective for customers.

The Apache Software Foundation (ASF), the global home of open-source software the world relies on, today announced that Apache Iggy and Apache Sourcelume have become Top-Level Projects (TLP). Apache Iggy is a hyper-efficient, persistent message streaming platform written in Rust, built for predictable ultra-low latency and a minimal infrastructure footprint. Apache Sourcelume is open-source instrumentation for AI training-data provenance, giving dataset producers, model builders, and downstream consumers a shared, vendor-neutral way to document where training data came from and under what terms it may be used.

CoreWeave announced that Rescale will expand its cloud ecosystem to CoreWeave Cloud to support AI and simulation workloads powering next-generation product development. With CoreWeave’s purpose-built AI cloud, Rescale customers across aerospace, automotive, energy, life sciences, and manufacturing can run demanding simulations and AI workloads at the speed and scale their breakthrough engineering requires.

Data Ladder introduced a new web-based version of DataMatch Enterprise. Its REST API and Docker-based deployment allow entity resolution, profiling, and data preparation to run directly inside applications and data pipelines instead of requiring a separate desktop workflow. Live Search supports on-demand matching, while interactive Entity Graphs show how records connect and how each entity group was formed.

Nasuni announced it has acquired DryvIQ. The acquisition adds AI-powered content intelligence and governance capabilities to the Nasuni File Data Platform, including content-level discovery and classification, sensitivity detection, and automated policy-driven governance, giving organizations greater visibility and control over unstructured data, not just within Nasuni, but across more than 40 cloud and on-premises repositories.

Nutanix announced the general availability of Nutanix Enterprise AI (NAI) 2.8, and the upcoming general availability of Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP) 2.19. NAI and NKP are designed to enable organizations to securely run, manage, and govern AI, containerized applications, and virtualized workloads through a consistent control plane. Together, they give enterprises a flexible alternative to infrastructure stacks that limit architectural choice, drive up costs, and require disruptive platform changes.

OPAQUE announced TRACE (Trust, Runtime Attestation, and Compliance Evidence), an open, portable, hardware-enforced governance record for AI agents and other confidential workloads. Developed in collaboration with leading hardware and AI infrastructure companies and contributed to the Linux Foundation, TRACE establishes a vendor-neutral format for proving what software ran, which policies governed execution, what data classifications were involved, and which tools were invoked. Rather than creating another proprietary verification stack, TRACE composes existing standards into a common evidence layer designed to work across enterprise, cloud and sovereign AI infrastructure.

Pigment announced the continued expansion of its global partner ecosystem. The ecosystem brings together global consulting and advisory firms, regional specialists, and technology partners, including Deloitte, RSM, Grant Thornton, Clearsulting, SBI and Viridian, giving customers access to a broad mix of industry, regional and implementation expertise. Pigment is also growing its technology ecosystem by expanding its strategic partnership with Google and its presence across cloud marketplaces to accelerate growth.

QueryStory emerged from stealth, launching a new agentic data platform designed to close the gap between company data and decisions. The solution supports the entire decision lifecycle, including proactive guidance to the functional teams. It connects an organization’s data with the context that gives it meaning, so both technical and functional leaders work from the same governed foundation and then act on that information together. Every answer is scored, traceable, and continuously re-checked, so teams know the moment the information stops being right.
