PST has selected the Telit deviceWISE platform to support their aggressive plans to scale their IoT suite of solutions into new global emerging markets.

Global IoT platform and network provider Telit is joining forces with telematics security and connected car supply provider PST Electronics to reach new and emerging IoT markets. PST, which primarily serves Brazil and South America, has selected Telit’s deviceWISE IoT platform to support their push into the global marketplace.

Telit’s cellular and GPS modules already power hundreds of thousands of PST’s services and products in Brazil, allowing for the deployment of real-time business intelligence. 150,000 of those devices, as well as future deployments, will be enabled by Telit’s deviceWISE platform for 24/7 management of devices, data connectivity and more from a single dashboard.

“PST is preparing an expansion of their highly successful telematics solutions into new markets and segments and Telit’s IoT genius will help them deliver the scale, reliability, and flexibility required to best serve their customers around the globe,” said Yosi Fait, CEO of Telit. “We’re proud to work with a leader like PST and look forward to deepening our partnership with them. Telit plans to drive new opportunities to PST through our extensive routes to market driven by key partners, mobile operators and system integrators who are focused on delivering global end-to-end, turnkey IoT solutions to their indirect customer base.”

“Leveraging Telit’s deviceWISE platform allows us to execute the next stage in our corporate and technology initiatives with a focus on entering new markets with innovative services and an incredible user experience for our customers,” said Caetano Ferraiolo, President of PST Electronics. “Their capabilities and dedicated team of experts will further enable us to integrate IoT solutions beyond telematics and we couldn’t be more excited about what the future holds.”

PST’s expansion into new markets and services aligns with analyst firm, MachNation’s recent “State of the IoT Device Management Platform Market” report, which forecasts vendor revenues of more than 100% over the next twelve months, said their announcement.
