About Duncan Jones

Duncan Jones leads the research and innovation team at Thales eSecurity, focusing on emerging security threats and tomorrow's cyber technologies. He studied computer science at the University of Cambridge, before spending over ten years working in security and payments. Duncan has held roles spanning software development, architecture, consultancy and product management. Now as the Head of Research for Thales eSecurity, he steers a team of security experts and relishes getting hands-on with cutting-edge concepts and prototypes.
