Altair announced the rebrand of its entire data analytics and AI suite as Altair RapidMiner, uniting all data analytics technology into one platform. The Altair RapidMiner platform offers comprehensive end-to-end solutions from data ingestion and modeling to operationalization and visualization. Additionally, the platform is now available via Altair Units.

Lightning AI announced the general availability of PyTorch Lightning 2.0, the company’s flagship open-source AI framework used by more than 10,000 organizations to train and scale machine learning models. The new release introduces a stable API, offers a host of features with a smaller footprint, and is easier to read and debug. Lightning AI also unveiled Lightning Fabric to give users control over their training loop.

Intel contributed AI acceleration to PyTorch 2.0. Specifically, Intel provided Intel Extension for PyTorch, oneAPI Deep Neural Network Library (oneDNN), and additional support for Intel CPUs to enable developers to optimize inference and training performance for artificial intelligence (AI) in this release of PyTorch.

Acceldata announced significant enhancements to its data reliability solution, including no-code/low-code options, intelligent alerting, targeted recommendations, and self-healing capabilities to solve the most complex data reliability challenges while improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.

CelerData announced the latest version of its enterprise analytics platform, CelerData Version 3. CelerData is built on top of the open-source project StarRocks, which was recently donated to the Linux Foundation. With the release of CelerData V3, lakehouse users have the option to conduct high-performance analytics without ingesting data into a central data warehouse. 

Colossal-AI released an open-source framework for the replication of ChatGPT model training. The release has generated excitement in the AI community, leading to Colossal-AI becoming the number one trending project on GitHub for multiple weeks.

Concentric AI announced its data security posture management (DSPM) solution with support for optimized large language models. Concentric AI’s Semantic Intelligence delivers a semantic understanding of data and leverages context to offer precise accuracy in discovering sensitive data from intellectual property to financial data to business confidential information to PII/PCI/PHI and more.

DataRobot announced the release of DataRobot AI Platform 9.0. New capabilities in the platform facilitate rapid experimentation and value identification, reduced enterprise risk and barriers to production, and help deliver tremendous value right from the outset. The company also announced deeper integrations with Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service and SAP solutions, AI Accelerators, and redesigned service offerings.

Heap announced the expansion of its mobile auto-capture capabilities to new development frameworks for Android and iOS. Heap’s platform enables mobile teams to understand and optimize cross-platform customer experiences in a field. The cross-platform customer experience allows customers to reach the quickest time to insight so they can create the best possible digital experiences and accelerate their business, above and beyond what other tools can provide.

New Relic announced a machine learning operations (MLOps) capability that allows engineering teams to monitor applications built with OpenAI’s GPT Series APIs. With just two lines of code, engineering teams can monitor OpenAI completion queries while simultaneously tracking performance and cost metrics in real-time in a single view with New Relic. 

ngrok announced it has expanded free access to security features. Developers on ngrok’s free plan can now take advantage of webhook validation and the ability to restrict access to services with OAuth, the modern standard for securing access to APIs.

Provectus announce the v0.6 release of UI for Apache Kafka. The latest update brings enhancements and features that streamline cluster setup, enable efficient data discovery and observability, and simplify the installation process via AWS Marketplace. Enhanced and newly added features of UI for Apache Kafka include a configuration wizard for cluster setup, integration with OpenDataDiscovery Platform, support of protobuf imports and file references, and more.

Synthesis AI announced its enhanced capabilities to provide synthetic data for a wide range of Automotive and Autonomous Vehicle (AV) use cases, including Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), Occupant Monitoring Systems (OMS), and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Through Synthesis Humans and Synthesis Scenarios, an ecosystem of automotive OEMs, providers, and suppliers can now simulate driver and occupant behavior for in-cabin car environments to build more capable perception systems.

Syniti announced the launch of its Data Assessment Express solution, a one-week data quality assessment specifically for businesses that use SAP solutions. Using the solution, businesses can improve focus and increase automation with insights from multiple data domains. It helps companies reduce risk and accelerate execution across multiple data quality use cases.

Tecton announced Tecton 0.6, which introduces notebook-driven development to build ML features and generate training datasets. With the new release, data scientists and ML engineers can leverage Tecton’s feature engineering framework in their core modeling workflow without ever leaving their notebooks. Tecton also introduced its stream ingest API, which provides more flexibility in managing streaming features. 

TIBCO announced a series of enhancements to its analytics suite. Key enhancements to TIBCO’s following analytics solutions include TIBCO Spotfire 12.2 now offers a scalable, self-service analytics platform with built-in governance; TIBCO Streaming now offers dynamic learning and analyzes streaming data to automate data management and analytics calculations on real-time events, merging historical and streaming data as part of the same analysis; TIBCO Data Science – Team Studio updates include a new Apache Spark 3 workflow engine and TIBCO Data Virtualization for data management.

Zenoss announced it has released streaming data monitoring for Kubernetes. This real-time monitoring of Kubernetes streaming data is part of a broader set of initiatives focused on cloud-based monitoring, which enables visibility for ephemeral systems that cannot be effectively monitored by traditional monitoring tools.

Partnerships, collaborations, and more

Alkira is partnering with HighPoint to help enterprise accelerate their digital transformation via cloud networking. With this partnership, HighPoint can offer customers more personalized multi-cloud networking services and options that are tailored to fit any enterprise’s requirements.

Canonical announced it is teaming up with MediaTek to optimize Ubuntu for IoT innovation. The first Ubuntu images are optimized for MediaTek’s Genio 1200 System on Chip (SoC). The solution enhances AI innovation for enterprises, startups, emerging brands, and leading ODMs in diverse markets. In other Canonical news, the company announced that its Ubuntu Core OS is now compatible with Arm’s SystemReady IR system specification. In addition, the OS has achieved PSA Certified Level 1. announced that it is partnering with dbt Labs to deliver deeper visibility into transformation and greater discoverability into data assets built with dbt. The new partnership builds on’s existing integration with dbt Core to include dbt Cloud. Now dbt Cloud users have the ability to gain powerful insights through’s knowledge graph.

KNIME announced that it has achieved Premier tier partner status from Snowflake. As a Premier partner, KNIME can help accelerate the digital transformation of its joint customers, who can fully leverage the Snowflake Data Cloud.

New Relic and JFrog announced an integration that gives engineering teams a single point of access to monitor and keep software development operations running efficiently. Using New Relic alongside JFrog provides real-time visibility into CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and web application development workflows, empowering DevOps and security leaders to quickly address software supply chain performance and security issues.

Tabnine announced it has joined forces with Google to power the future of advanced Generative AI on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Tabnine’s AI tools for VS Code (5M) and JetBrains (2M) are part of many developers’ daily processes. The extended partnership with Google will help developers streamline their workflow, improve productivity, and make the software development process more efficient.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced the launch of its 5G-enabled solution, TCS Cognitive Plant Operations Adviser for the Microsoft Azure Private Mobile Edge Computing (PMEC) platform. The solution is designed to help companies in industries like manufacturing, oil and gas, consumer packaged goods, and pharmaceuticals transform production, harnessing AI and machine learning to make it more intelligent, agile, and resilient.
